Word of the Day
The title might suggest that there will be a word for everyday, however, this is not the case. I will tell you that for today only you will have a word for the day. That word is...nincompoop. This is a great word. I can't help but chuckle every single time that I hear it. From the look on someones face when assaulted with such a word, to the purveyor of verbal villainy. Nincompoop is an all to disarming word. I suggest in the heat of an argument, reach deep into the depths of your vernacular bag of tricks and strike back with nincompoop. I guarantee you, nor your counterpart will have the wherewithal to keep your composure. Laughing ensues, and all is well in the world.

Focus Factor of None
At this moment in time, I have no discernible direction. My mind is buzzing with activity, working at a feverish pace. No direction. Abound like a pinball machine. I am working on committing myself to posting more frequently. The excuse that I have, which truly is a problem that I am working on, is I am constantly editing myself. I have difficulty staying focus on conveying my internal voice. My fingers apparently cannot keep up with the chaotic workings of my brain. The best remedy for that I'm told is to just write often, freely with little time to self edit, otherwise I will be typing the same sentence over and over until I drive myself mad. I would like this blog to help create some structure within my writing ventures. And so it begins...

Equality? Rights? Fairness?
It is quite curious to me how terms of equality and rights can be thrown around loosely almost always never in context. It seems as though those who casually banter about such ideas hide behind the broad use of the word. Certainly most level thinking individuals would agree upon an idea of equality in the world for all if its inhabitants. Equal rights, is a more debatable term. What are rights, natural and or legal, and what is just deemed fair. Said ideas are noble in reasoning, yet somehow are again broad in their understanding based on the context of which they are derived. In a country of so many opportunities I believe we forget how truly blessed we are and tend to focus on that of which conceivably hinder us. Not to say we must accept the current state of things or ignore any attempts at improving our world, but at what cost do we act without considering the consequences. We all have a say, and apparently all have to correct answers in regards to what the world should look like. We all tend to lose sight of the "meanings" because of our own agendas. There is much unfairness in the world and in my own life, but as in the current state of things I wouldn't say I have lost any "rights." I suppose I just don't understand the general statement: "Equal rights." What are you referring to, and provide an example. Once again there is a difference between natural and legal rights. One begets the other, but legalities are legalities. Because certain "rights" maybe limited legally, you must define it so and deal with it in that regard rather than blanketing the issue of unequal rights as your main point. Unfortunately, when it comes to such issues, agenda plays a huge role, which in my estimation, clouds the true more objective minded issue. Now that I am unable to really discuss and debate this notion, I seem to be talking in circles. Do I or do I not have the "right" to do anything that I want? Technically yes, but there are caveats to this notion.
